Manuel is an important piece in IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers). Currently, is not only a member of Europe at Region 8 YP Subcommittee but he is also the Spain YP’s Past-Chair, a position that he already holds from previous years. As a member, Manuel participates in the organization and support of different IEEE gatherings such as meetings, conferences and congresses. In short words, creating community for advancing technology. Regarding profession, Manuel is a SCADA Engineer at Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy a big company in Spain. And for those who are not in the field, SCADA stands for «Supervisory Control and Data Aquisition» and it is a control system architecture that he is using to model the control of windturbines.
