1. Which is the deadline for applying?

2. Which are the activities in that I can take part?
· 3-day access to the event (all startups).
· Stand at the startup fair or space for your roll-up (only selected startups. We will not provide the roll-up).
· Promotional material: logo at stand. Company profile in the official event app logo on website (all startups).
· Access to special workshops (all startups).
· Social media mentions (all startups).
· Access to 3 Networking Cocktails with Key Players (2 people per startup) (all startups).
· Pitching Competition (only the first 100 selected startups that have sent the Video Pitch in English).
· Curated Matchmaking (only the selected startups that have completed all the questions of the Investors’ Deck).
· Mentoring (all startups).
· Accelerator Assembly Reverse Pitch Jury (only selected startups).

*You will have access to those activities as long as you have made the payment of € 180 + VAT per participating startup.

4. What is the pitch video?
· A video of you pitching your startup. We need this video to be able to decide whether you meet the quality standards for participate at the pitching competition.
· This video must respond to aspects such as: the originality and viability of the idea, the degree of technology and innovation, the problem that needs to be solved, the market and advantages over competitors, the added value, the business model and its scalability, and the degree of communication of the project, as well as the team that forms it.
· We do not need a professionally-edited video, we just need to see you pitching your project, recording it with a mobile device will be enough.
· The video pitch must be in mpg., mp4., mov., or avi. format, and cannot exceed 3 minutes duration.
· The video pitch should be kept in your Google Drive and it must be included as an open link at the form question related to this point. Use the name of your startup followed by “_VideoPitch”, to name the file.
· Those startups that do not comply with the delivery deadlines of the presentation will not be able to participate in this activity, even if they have been selected.
· Only the 100 best startups will be able to participate in this activity. Once the 100 startups have been are selected, the application process will be closed, and no more applications will be considered.

5. What is the Investors’ Deck?
· It is the 4th part that the registration form, you need to fill in with details of your company. You will find above more info about how fill this part of the form.
· If you want to be part of the matchmaking activity, we need to have it in order to send it to investors and corporates interested in the matchmaking and they will decide with whom they want to meet (please remember that you can also make your own contacts and close meetings through our event app).
· The Matchmaking activity will be confirmed through notification via email to those startups that have been chosen by the big corporations and investors.
We will inform you which Corporations and investors will be interested in your startup, as well as the date, exact location and meeting tables.
· Those startups that do not comply with the delivery deadlines of the presentation will not be able to participate in this activity, even if they have been selected.

6. When can I set up and dismantle my stand?
· Setting up will be done from 10:00 to 14:00 & 16:00 to 20:00 hours on Tuesday 8th of September.
· Dismantling will be done from 14:00 to 16:00 on Friday 11th of September.
Exhibition Hours:
– Wednesday 9th of September from 10:00 to 14:00 & 16:00 to 20:00 hours.
– Thursday 10th of September from 10:00 to 14:00 & 16:00 to 20:00 hours.
– Friday 11th of September from 10:00 to 14:00 hours.

9. Which includes the stand in Fair Mode 1?
· Fair Mode 1 includes exhibition booth of 1’5 m2 + table 70cm + logo in the poster identifying your stand + WIFI + point of light with 3 plugs] + rollup space (the organization do not will provide the rollup).
Only the first 500 startups that apply will be eligible to have a stand in Fair Mode 1 – provided they have a final product to display.

Once the stands are finished -or if you do not have a final product to show- the startups will automatically be included in Fair Mode 2 (space for rollup).

HOW I PARTICIPATE AS STARTUP IN STARTUP OLÉ 2020
(Instructions for complete this form)

1. FILL THE FORM
Fill out our registration form. This form consists of 5 parts:

1. Contact Details. In this part we will need to know the name of the Startup, contact person, position of the contact person and the company members who will attend the event.

2. Startup Data. Your city/country, web page, small description about your Startup, vertical in which you develop your business, your social networks profiles and your recommended code.

3. Road to Success! In this section you can choose the activities you want to participate in. You can find all the information about the conditions of participation in the registration form.

4. Investor Deck – 4 parts. (See special conditions for data processing in this section of the registration form.)
a. Business data (investor Deck* 1/4), at this point we want to know your financial data, in which stage you are, business model, Scope, vision, key activity, and a brief description of your competition.
b. Company at a Glance (investor Deck* 2/4), your financial information, if you have received investment, who has provided you with the investment, income, expenses, estimates for next years, and so on…
c. Financial data (Investor Deck* 3/4)
d. Key Metrics (Investor Deck* 4/4)
* Please note that it is mandatory to fill out both points if you want to participate in the Matchmaking Activity selection process.

5. Thanks for applying! We will evaluate your request and in our next communication we will inform you of the next steps to follow. See you in Startup Olé 2019!

2. MAKE THE PAYMENT.
We will evaluate your request and if you have been chosen, you will receive a confirmation email with the payment link to the ON-SITE Modality (180 € + VAT) or ON-LINE Modality (120€ + VAT).
After paying the amount, you will receive a confirmation email of payment, plus:

– The confirmation of your presence in Fair 1 or Fair 2.
– The links to get your accreditations (We want to remind you that only two members of your Startup can attend the cocktails)
– For the activities which need a selection process (matchmaking, pitch competition and jury of AA Reserve Pitch) we will let you know when the first-round closes as long as you have completed the registration with all the information and you have sent your video pitch and payment.

3. GET YOUR TICKETS
Once you have received the link for to get your accreditations, remember that you have access for 2 persons to 3 networking cocktails during the event for your participation as a startup.

The Startup Olé Team will keep in touch with you to inform you of your participation in the activities.

4. ROCK’ ON
You will be welcome to one of the most important entrepreneurial events in Europe in one of the most beautiful cities in Spain.

Pitching Competition Award

Startup World Cup is the biggest pitching and startup conference in the world.
It is organized by Pegasus Tech Ventures, USA Silicon Valley VC and it is based on Regional competitions in more than 40 countries that attracts thousands of attendees every year.
If you are selected as a regional finalist in our event in Salamanca you will travel to San Francisco to compete for $ 1 million of investment award!

 

TIMELINE STARTUPS SELECTION

Startup OLÉ Blended Edition Deadline Dates:

1-Registration deadline: 1st of July (ON-LINE Mode) or 15th of July (ON-SITE Mode)
2-Payment deadline: 25th of July
3-Announcement of new batches of selected startups-Pitch competition: From now to the 30th of July
4-Rock on! see you in Salamanca 2020 (9th-11th of September)

This means that you have more time to register and meet the most relevant actors of the ecosystem!
