As a co-founder of Globant, Martín Umaran has been responsible for ensuring Globant’s growing capacity and broadening global reach. He coordinates and supports executives in daily projects and acts as a liaison to senior management within the company. He is also responsible for Globant’s mergers and acquisitions process, which combined with the company’s organic growth, has resulted in Globant’s expansion to sixteen countries. Martín has extensive experience in business and operations management for the technology and logistics industries. Alongside the other Globant co-founders, Martín was selected as an Endeavor Entrepreneur in 2005. He holds a degree in mechanical engineering from the National University of La Plata and a Masters in Business Administration from IDEA University.

I am a serial entrepreneur with more than 14 years of experience in the technological and audiovisual innovation industry. I am currently immersed in developing Triple-O Games, my second startup, using a business model that incorporates blockchain into video games. I also enjoy being a mentor for younger entrepreneurs and helping other startups in achieving their goals. I have worked with big international companies such as Disney, Warner, Marvel, and Mattel. I studied Graphic design and audiovisual communication at CICE, Blockchain at Oxford and conflict resolution at Stanford University Key achievements: awarded as “Best Startup” in the Canary Islands, won a Goya for an animation movie, be a TED speaker, raised several rounds of investments, built a successful video game company and get featured worldwide by Apple, among others.
